February 6, 2022 – Celebrating Valentine’s Day 2022

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we understand the importance of practising holiday traditions and the excitement this brings to children.

February 4, 2022 – FAMJAM Trivia Night

Join Public Health Sudbury & Districts and Science North on Wednesday, February 9th, at 7:00 pm for a virtual FAMJAM TRIVIA NIGHT: Vaccines with Dr. Reich and Science North Bluecoat Larissa. Compete against other live viewers for a chance to win Science North swag!

February 3, 2022 – Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT)

As a follow up to the Information Bulletin of January 21, 2022 to parents and guardians, we want to provide an update on the availability of rapid antigen test (RAT) kits.

January 26, 2022 – Bus Cancellations

The pandemic has resulted in the cancellation of buses due to driver isolation requirements and driver shortages. Although the board is consistently working with the consortium and parents around transportation issues, these cancellations are unavoidable at this time.

January 25, 2022 – Vaccination Clinics Available

These clinics will be taking place at Loblaw Pharmacies for children, adult staff and families of Sudbury Catholic Schools.

January 25, 2022 – School-Based Vaccination Clinics for Students

Parents and guardians are encouraged to review the attached letter and permission form from the Health Unit. Please call the Health Unit directly if you have any questions about this form.

January 20, 2022 – Letter from the Minister of Education

As we meet the challenge presented by the Omicron variant, we are building upon Ontario’s cautious and leading plan to protect in-person learning.

January 17, 2022 – RAT Tests and 3-Ply Masks

Today, each child will bring home a bag that contains 2 rapid antigen tests (RAT). Also, 3-ply cloth masks are available to all students upon request.

January 16, 2022 – Letter from Public Health Sudbury & Districts

Public Health Sudbury & Districts is working closely with your school to support educators and students. In shifting back to in-person learning, please be reminded of the important layers of protection as described in this letter.

January 15, 2022 – Information Bulletin for Parents

We welcome you back to Sudbury Catholic Schools. We have been advised by the Ministry of Education that the reopening of schools for students who learn face-to-face is Monday, January 17th, 2022. In preparation for a return to school, please read the attached information bulletin for parents.

January 3, 2022 – Information Bulletin for Parents

The Ministry of Education has directed that all elementary and secondary students who were attending face to face, will engage in remote learning from January 5th to January 14th, 2022.
