Canadian Cancer Society Fundraiser at Immaculate Conception School
The students at Immaculate Conception School have fundraised for the Canadian Cancer Society during the months of January and February. All monies raised were directed to the Breast Cancer Research.
The students were involved in many fundraising activities, which included the following: creating and selling Rainbow Loom jewellery items to students, participating in Bubble Gum contests, donating money to the Pink & Red Spirit Day and selling hockey tickets for the Pink in the Rink event held on February 14th. We sold 99 hockey tickets for Pink in the Rink.
The students at Immaculate Conception School raised $2,331.00 for Breast Cancer Research. Chantal Beauparlant, a representative from Canadian Cancer Society attended our Liturgy Celebration, which focused on the theme of Compassion and Healing. We are so proud of our students for all their efforts and hard work.
